Laker's Jersey cake

Loved how this cake turned out! All fondant with edible images as the "patches". The numbers I made with the cricut cake. The shoes and basketball are all made out of cake as well. I have to give props to my son, Bryce. When I told him I didn't care for the way the basketball was finished off, he suggested I make some kind of wrap for it. And so, the lakers scarf was made.

  3. I printed the images myself. I have a jersey and I just put my jersey on my copier.

  5. Nati, It took me about 4 hours just to do the decorating. I baked and iced everything the day before.

  6. Anna, for the texturing, I used (believe it or not) a ceiling panel that I purchased from home depot. I cleaned it really well, broke it in a few large pieces and used it on the fondant. It's plastic so it's pretty strong.
