Piped wedding cake

This cake was new for me as far as flavors. The top two tiers are Banana cake with cream cheese filling. The bottom tier is Lemon with raspberry. All covered in fondant. Piping is with black royal icing. Monograms are made with fondant then painted with silver luster dust.

Jungle Animals

Jungle animal baby shower cake. Red Velvet/cream cheese, chocolate/strawberry, white/buttercream. Cake is buttercream with fondant accents. Animals and sign are gumpaste.

"Owl" baby shower cake

The Owl is a white cake, carved, then iced and covered in fondant. The log is a chocolate cake, covered in buttercream. Flowers are fondant.

Train for Darrin

This cake is buttercream with fondant accents. The top train was made with gumpaste. Top tier is red velvet with cream cheese filling and the bottom is chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling.

"Whale" for Darryl and Carol's baby shower

This was so fun to do! I stacked a lot of cakes and carved them to make the shape of the body. The tail is rice krispy treats. Royal icing on floral wire is for the "blow hole spout". The turtle is gumpaste. 

Beer mug

Beer mug is done with 3- 6 inch cakes stacked. I made the "glass" using an impression mat and gelatin. The "suds" are buttercream.  It's a marble cake with cream cheese filling. 

Princess cake

Princess cake for Pedro's daughter, Avalynn. Buttercream cake with fondant details. Cake is chocolate with cream cheese and strawberry filling.

Casino Night for IPPG

Casino night themed cake with a roulette wheel, poker chips stacked and the table was made to look like a craps table. Every element is edible. Fun to do! 

Angry Birds for Isaac

Lots of fun doing this cake. All the pieces are fondant which I mixed with tylose. Cake is Chocolate with Mint chocolate chip cream cheese filling. YUM!

"Heartist" BBQ

This cake was for my son's band, Heartist. I took it to a 'family-of-the-band-members' BBQ.  Since our boys are leaving for tour Nov. 25, 2012, they wanted the families to get together and get to know each other. It was a great day!
