Beer glass made with 6 inch cakes then wrapped with geletin wraps that I made with an impression mat. All the figures were made with gumpaste. The rug is made with royal icing.

Great photography work!
Hailey's 1st birthday party was a great success! My little grand-daughter turned one and she had a great time. Not one moment of "crankyness".
The theme was ladybugs. So I went all out with the ladybug cake that was white cake with strawberry filling on the bottom layer, the center was chocolate/chocolate mousse, and the ladybug on top was lemon/raspberry filling. The cookies were sugar cookies with fondant decorations including the little lady bug on the number one. She had her own little smash cake that was a little ladybug. She really liked the icing!
I made this gift box cake using fondant panels instead of wrapping the cake in fondant. I rolled out the fondant and allowed them to dry for a few days. Then I cut them to fit the cake. The lid is all gumpaste because it needed to dry firm in order to stand.
There were 3 cakes done for this wedding. They wanted the bride and groom on either side of a three tier, white fondant cake, with red hearts. I didn't get a good pic of all three cakes in a row. I will post one if I can get it from the wedding planner.
Ivory fondant covered cake. Black ribbon. All flowers were made with white gumpaste, then airbrushed red. Cake was Sour cream white with Chocolate Chip Hazelnut and strawberry filling. Congratulations Carol and Darryl!!
This was for a co-worker, who's daughter turned one. The top of the cake, the lady bug, was easily removed to be the smash cake for the baby. All the little ladybugs were made with a mold and then the black details were painted on.
Loved how this cake turned out! All fondant with edible images as the "patches". The numbers I made with the cricut cake. The shoes and basketball are all made out of cake as well. I have to give props to my son, Bryce. When I told him I didn't care for the way the basketball was finished off, he suggested I make some kind of wrap for it. And so, the lakers scarf was made.
This baby shower cake was white and pink on the inside with cream cheese filling and Creme Bouquet buttercream icing. The cake was then covered and decorated with fondant. To get the black fondant shiny, I steam it.
A Valentine's cake I made and took to work for all of my co-workers at Sam's Club. It was a white cake with chocolate chip hazelnut filling. The "honey" dripping on the sides was made with lemon filling and a little pearl dust added for shine.
This was for a little girls' birthday who was turning 5 years old. All of the elements were covered with pink royal icing then dusted with white glitter. The flowers are all fondant. The cake was Strawberry/buttercream filling on the bottom and the top tier was Chocolate/chocolate raspberry filling. All the elements had to be put on the cake on site.
SURPRISE! This was for one of my best friends' surprise birthday. We surprised Sheryl with a breakfast picnic in the park. Complete with made-to-order omelets, fruit, croissants, potatoes and, of course, her cake. Chocolate with Bavarian cream, strawberry and chocolate mousse filling. The Calla Lillie's were made out of Gumpaste. What a GREAT day!!
I started decorating cakes in 2006 after taking classes at the local party supply store. It quickly became my passion. I took a job at a warehouse store as a full time decorator and have also taken over teaching cake decorating at that same party supply store where I first took my classes Decor Party Supply in La Habra. I've been there since 2007. I teach "beginners" to "advanced fondant". If this is something you think you would enjoy pick up a class schedule from Decor and join me for some very fun evenings.
