A surprise birthday cake for my friend, Marcia. The cake was chocolate with lemon and raspberry filling. The bird is made with royal icing.

- I started decorating cakes in 2006 after taking classes at the local party supply store. It quickly became my passion. I took a job at a warehouse store as a full time decorator and have also taken over teaching cake decorating at that same party supply store where I first took my classes Decor Party Supply in La Habra.
