Noah's Arc baby shower cake

First Cake in my new kitchen! It sure felt good to get back to it! This is a Noah's Arc cake complete with gumpaste animals. Two of each. Very fun, time consuming, but fun.

Sea life for Savannah and Ceili

Under the sea themed cake for two cousins. Ceili turned 2 and Savannah turned 3. The top tier was white cake with peanut butter and jelly filling and the bottom tier was chocolate cake with choc. mousse and Bavarian cream filling. All the sea shells and sea "coral" were made of white chocolate and everything else was fondant.

Hailey's 1st Birthday

Hailey's 1st birthday party was a great success! My little grand-daughter turned one and she had a great time. Not one moment of "crankyness".
The theme was ladybugs. So I went all out with the ladybug cake that was white cake with strawberry filling on the bottom layer, the center was chocolate/chocolate mousse, and the ladybug on top was lemon/raspberry filling. The cookies were sugar cookies with fondant decorations including the little lady bug on the number one. She had her own little smash cake that was a little ladybug. She really liked the icing!

Black Lace Dress

This cake is covered with fondant then I wrapped the top with black lace that I made out of sugar. Everything is edible.

Dodger Jersey

The jersey is made with fondant. The mitt and ball are rice krispy treats covered in fondant.

Patron Gift Box

I made this gift box cake using fondant panels instead of wrapping the cake in fondant. I rolled out the fondant and allowed them to dry for a few days. Then I cut them to fit the cake. The lid is all gumpaste because it needed to dry firm in order to stand.
